The first closed beta event for Citadel Studios’ new MMO Legends of Aria launched today. The event carries over characters from the Final Alpha and nixes the NDA. So streaming should be a go.
Legends of Aria is a “living virtual world” MMO in which actions have consequences. The game uses dynamic behavior systems to create a world in which players can bump into NPCs and have a chat about the latest gossip. And, they’ll need to be careful what they do as a single player action can bring an army or dragon down on the local village.
The game removes restrictions on character development, allowing players to pick up skills wherever they can. Although as in real life, there is a limit to what player characters can learn, so they’ll want to specialize.
